COFFEE
Q. When is my coffee roasted? And how long does the coffee last?
A. Our production team regularly roasts damn good coffees every Monday, Wednesday and Friday by the production schedule that is designed for the damands of the customers. And the coffee you received is likely roasted 0.5-3 days before we send. In addition to this, we always recommend to have at least a week of resting after the roasting date, before the start of using it. Thus, when you receive the coffee, you are welcome to start brewing it in a couple of days. (Refer to the article - Find the right age of your coffee) Moreover, coffees do not go off. However, we recommend to finish using the coffee within 7-8 weeks of time, preferrably, within 5 weeks for the best flavour experience.
Q. I like milk coffees. Which coffee bean should I drink?
A. In Australia, almost 80% of drinkers are drinking milk coffees (Squareup 2020), which means, we all know what's good and what's bad for milk coffees. The most important part we believe in milk coffee is that the coffee should cut through the milk so that a nice rich, smooth, and delicious characteristics of coffee come out of the cup. With this philosophy, we have created three different types of blends (check out what we have), DG Blend the darkest with dark chocolate, vanilla note, CS Blend the medium with sweet, chocolate, and malty flavour, and HJ Blend the medium-light, fruity characters. So, you can choose one of those three depending on your preferance. For more information, please refer to our Coffee Selecting Guide.
Q. I'm a pourover filter drinker. How can I brew a better coffee at home?
A. There is an article we wrote about how to brew coffee better at home. But simply saying, get a good coffee (check good coffee list), good filtered water, brew with a right brew ratio and grind size (refer to each bean's recommended recipe on the product page).
Q. I want a strong & intense coffee. What should I do?
A. To get strong and intense coffee isn't that hard! What you should do is to buy a strong and intense coffee like Normcore blends or using more coffee(updosing) if you are brewing single origin coffees. This is the simplest way to make the coffee stronger and more intense.
